Write the Causes and the Solutions for the moral problems in TikTok. 

Background summary: TikTok is owned by the Chinese company ByteDance, an app terminus for short-form mobile videos, and has become one of the world’s most famous and popular social media platforms with younger audiences (Galer & Tidy, 2020). The first TikTok Shop market outside of Asia launched in the U.K. in 2021. However, the company’s culture conflicted in the region from China, leading to dozens of employees quitting jobs due to toxic and grueling work conditions. It announced that: 1) the toxic 996 culture requires the employee to work from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. six days a week, which works out to 72 hours per week. 2)  The company also needs employees to stand by to work even out of work hours as soon as possible. 3) It named and shamed employees who did not respond to work after work hours. 4)  companies should not provide employees with maternity leave (Shead, 2021). The memo’s purpose is to improve services, provide health and welfare support to employees, and deal with the 996 issues because it is illegal to work more than 48 hours a week in the U.K (Government Digital Service, 2015).
